Thai Thai @ Mandarin Gallery

One of our favourite Thai food restaurant in Singapore. The Bangkok Jam group (no relations to the Singapore Bangkok Jam) in Malaysia operates this top tier Thai restaruant here in Singapore.

When we are in Orchard and unsure of the crowds, we can always rely on Thai Thai for having seats, good food and great service.

The interior looks modern, but still retains some Thai charm.

One of the unique appetizers here - Thai Thai Heavenly Platter (S$22) with Fresh spring rolls and prawns, rice crackers, mieng kam and fish cake.

Refreshing Thai iced tea (S$10) and Thai iced lemongrass tea (S$10)

Fresh and tangy ingredients are the trademark of Thai food. Their Papaya Salad served with Grilled Prawns (S$21) had a tangy dressing.

The Baked Giant Prawns (S$28) with turkey bacon and glass noodles, was a bit dry for us.

A very pretty and healthy Assorted vegetables (Steamed and Fried) served with shrimp paste sauce (S$17)

This is one of the more beautiful presentation of the Tom Yam Soup with Giant Prawn, thick base version (S$9.90). Potent too.

One of my favourite dish here is their Traditional Thai Green Chicken Curry (S$17). Goes great with white rice.

Also had the Stir fried kangkong with belacan (S$12), which is average.

For those who want a less spicy soup, you can try the Tom Yam Soup with Giant Prawn, clear base version (S$9.90)
