Old Lai Huat @ Rangoon Road

I like the food at Lai Huat, so here is another round of review at Old Lai Huat @ Rangoon Road. This visit to Old Lai Huat is actually before the first review I did.

This is the sambal promfret. As I have mentioned, do order the other fish instead of promfret because promfret tends to be a bit dry and "boney" when deep fried. As usual the sambal is crispy but not too spicy. But don't eat too much because you may get tired of the taste very soon.

Drunken prawns. The soup is very tasty as there is dan gui inside with the wine. Prawns are fresh and crunchy.

Black pepper slipper prawns. The black pepper is very fragrant, but a bit too spicy.
