Watami @ The Central

Photobucket

It's another visit to our fav Japanese restaurant - Watami. This time, it is to their 2nd outlet at Central.

Photobucket

Ordered 2 hot dishes and 2 cold dishes.

Our favourite Hire Katsu with Tamago. As always, a mini gas stove brings the claypot to a boil.

An egg is added into the dish. Yummy!

Japanese pork Gyoza. Served directly on the hotplate. I like the minature chilli oil bottle.

Photobucket

The Gyoza is crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. There are 4 pieces of Gyoza and each serving.

Photobucket

The Watami Salad - Like the miso salad dressing and tuna. Salad greens are fresh and crunchy.

This is the unique cold seafood ramen. It is served cold with sesame sauce, ramen noodles and some vegetables + seafood and shredded eggs. This is the first time I am trying cold ramen, and I think I am hooked. Refreshing dish which is ideal for a warm afternoon.

I am looking forward to coming back to Watami for even more of their dishes!

  1. I like the watami salad! The sesame dressing makes all the diff to a simple salad. Ahh, the cold ramen sounds nice.. Do you know whether the noodles are made of buckwheat?? Think this is a new item.. Didn't see it on the menu last time I went hmm.
