Pollen @ Gardens By The Bay

After some months, we went back to Pollen again. This time, service was much better than previously. Perhaps they have sorted out some issues regarding ordering and serving of food to diners.

As it was brunch time, we had the Cloudy Apple Juice (S$3.50) and Pink Grapefruit Juice (S$3.50). The bread rolls were pretty good. Served warm and quite a few varieties.

Ordered 4 sets of Special Set Lunch (S$80 per person)

They serve some really unique condiments and dips to go with the bread. Mashed salted cod fish with fresh cream and marinated olive

Young vegetable salad, dill marinated cauliflower and goat's curd. The vegetables were fresh and sweet. A very healthy dish.

They have a few soups on their menu, and this one's the roasted sea scallop, chestnut soup, squid and hijikami

One couldn't really see any flowers or plants here in Pollen, except for this mini landscape garden at the edge of the restaurant.

Confit duck leg, Brussels sprouts, bacon risotto, shaved chestnuts - Those who are looking for crispy skin on their confit duck will be disappointed with the version here. It's more of a "roasted" version, but the taste was good.

Roasted red snappers, saffron mash, "bouillabaisse" - The fish dishes were quite a delight.

Top marks for their desserts. We always enjoy the desserts here. Chocolate and pistachio

Spiced cake pudding ice cream, mandarin orange, caramelized figs and grapes. Honeycomb crunch

A various selection of Petit four to go with our coffee and tea.
