Marmalade Pantry was not our first choice. Initially we wanted to have desserts at TWG 1 floor below, but as it was pretty crowded, we decided to try out luck upstairs.
Sitting in Marmalade Pantry, I started to take in the architectural beauty of ION. Noticed that the roof resembles that of a ship.
As it was danieru弁～～V(^o^)V first time trying out the dessert here, I recommended the Sticky Date & Toffee Pudding with vanilla ice-cream (S$12). I think he was quite happy with this dessert. We agreed that the pudding must have been steamed instead of baked in an oven as it was pretty moist.
As the old fashioned chocolate fudge cake is sold out, we ordered the sea salt caramel cheesecake (S$7.80) instead. Not much caramel taste here, but the cheese blended well with the pine nuts. A rich cheesecake which will satisfy most cheesecake fans.
Last sitting is 9:00pm here, so make sure you get into the restaurant before 9pm.
