Goto Japanese Restaurant, the premiere restaurant for Japanese cuisines, attracts many VVIPs and politicians for its seasonal and tasty dishes.

According to TimeOut Singapore website:
"Goto Hisao, the former chef to the Japanese ambassador to Singapore, has opened a kaiseki-only restaurant in the space formerly occupied by Wacha.
Reservations should be made three days in advance and special dietary requests should be made at least one week ahead. "

It's not difficult to see why this restaurant is popular with the VIPs with privacy while dining, even in the open area. Deputy Prime Minister Teo was spotted there at Goto!
I shall let the pictures do the talking and present here a picture spread of the multiple Japanese course dinner:

Appetizer - Full of seasonal produces from Japan.

The liquid in the small transparent bowl is actually fish sperm.

Fish ball soup - Not ur regular fish ball, but made from 100% fish meat.

Assortment of sashimi slices.

Grilled seasonal fish.

Assortment of tempura pieces

Rice with miso soup

Here comes the dessert with fruits and ice-cream. The fruits are especially sweet.

The black sauce here is actually our very own Coconut sugar (Gula Melaka).

Finally, dinner ends with top grade matcha.
